They said the rear main was good but its still leaking a fair bit around the oil pan gasket in the front. Can you see the rear main with the oil pan off? Just curious on what the shop will say.Kind regards,Carl WebJan 2, 2024 · I would replace the "o" ring on the cam sensor and see if that does,nt fix your leak. The o ring goes bad and oil runs down the back of engine to appear the rear main is leaking, although rear mains are noted to leak on these engines. The cam seal is alot cheaper than pulling the trans.
