This worksheet is designed to be taught alongside teaching of which treaty a school or community is situated upon, the historical implications of treaties and their effects on local Indigenous communities, and the inclusion of Indigenous voice through guest speakers or online resources. WebI would like to begin by acknowledging that we are on treaty land, referred to as Treaty 6 Territory and that the City of (blank) and all the people here are beneficiaries of this treaty. Treaty 6 encompasses the lands of the Cree, Dakota, Nakota, Saulteaux (SO-TOE) and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
