WebJust quit the game completely (close it) and then restart it and reload your last save. Eventually it can get to the point that the spear and other items start bugging out too, seems to just be the bow that it starts with and it's possibly related to dying and loading in from a save so as you get better at the game it stops being an issue! WebIt happens even if the bowstring is pulled back fully, with lighter bows and arrows and even when staying still. To fix, try using a different bow or arrows until the glitch ceases. Especially frustrating when engaging powerful enemies or when using magic bows who lose charge per shot regardless of a hit or miss. Share Improve this answer Follow
